Charles Street Bar

Charles Street Bar has become a focal point for the scene in Brighton for the young gay crowd and their friends for over five years. A bar, cafe and restaurant the layout and decor is contemporary with an abundance of flat panel screens bedecking the walls to provide music video.

Mad Cow

Our other Brighton Institution, the craziest of party nights has to be Mad Cow.

Its insanely easy - you pay £1 to get in, which you hand over to the tart with a heart, the mad cow herself Miss Joan Bond, (which by the way all goes to worthwhile causes in Brighton like THT, Sussex Beacon, Pride etc),

and then all drinks are insanely cheap like....... £1.25 a pint*, £1 a bottle*, £1 for a small glass of house wine and £1 for any shot... and there you have it... all over the front of you as you dribble your way home.

It's undoubtedly one of the busiest nights at Charles Street. From 8pm - last entry for Mad Cow at 10pm. Then we join forces with Religion for an outerworldly experience!

*Excluding Smirnoff Ice, Magners, Hoegarden, non-house wines and champagne... but what more do you want?!

times: 8pm - 1am. door tax: £1 - donated to local charities.
